The biggest part of our food chain is derived from land or water. We are doing an outstanding job of allowing it to be totally destroyed.
Let us take a look at some of the chemicals found in our bodies:
Metals: lead, mercury, cadmium, cobalt, antimony, barium, beryllium, cesium, molybdenum, platinum, thallium, tungsten, and uranium.
Tobacco smoke: cotinine --- a metabolite of nicotine that tracks tobacco smoke exposure.
Organophosphate pesticides (Six metabolite measurements representing exposure to 28 pesticides):
dimethylphosphate
dimethylthiophosphate
dimethyldithiophosphate
diethylphosphate
diethylthiophosphate
diethyldithiophosphate
These metabolites are generally formed by the breakdown of 28 pesticides, including chlorpyrifos, diazinon, fenthion, malathion, parathion, disulfoton, phosmet, phorate, temephos, and methyl parathion.
Phthalate metabolites: mono-ethyl phthalate, mono-butyl phthalate, mono-2-ethylhexyl phthalate, mono-cyclohexyl phthalate, mono-n-octyl phthalate, mono-isononyl phthalate, and mono-benzyl phthalate.
All I can say is excuse me but there are several others missing from this list.
Is it any wonder we and are children have chronic illnesses?
Add all these chemicals to the land and then farm it to ruin. How often do you see the corporate farms fallow the land. How often do you see humus worked into the soil? Most of the land is dead, so how can the crops have any pranic or chi life energy for living creatures? Our dumbed down science does not know or understand these terms.
The over farming and over use of chemicals not only kills beneficial insects but also kills birds. Many do not understand the necessity of birds for the growing of crops but there is a direct relationship between the two. A synergistic relationship of vibrations. This is the song that Native Americans speak of being sung throughout nature.
So where do we start taking corrective action.
Do what you can to attract birds into your area.
Many need to go back to the days of Victory Gardens. Create your gardens and restore the soil the organic way. Do not use chemical fertilizers. Create your own fertilizer from compost and animal waste. You can buy fish fertilizer directly from canneries. Do it through the Internet!
If you are a farmer or gardener for market, you can check out ATTRA, Appropriate Technology Transfer for Rural Areas. To name just a few areas they are involved in:
Sustainable Farming
Organic Farming
Permaculture
Holistic Resource Management
Diversified Crop and Livestock Enterprises
Natural Pest Controls
Biological Pest Controls
Non-Chemical Weed Control
Biodynamic farming is another approach to natural restoration of the soil. The Preparations were developed by Dr Rudolf Steiner in 1924. They are not fertilizers themselves but greatly assist the fertilizing process. As such they only need to be used in very small amounts. This is an approach which might seem odd initially, but has a proven track record.
And lastly Soil Remineralisation is a concept that treats the soil as a live organism. Finely ground rock dust is added to the soil, which is broken down by microbiological activity. This is said to create food for the plants, which take up the processed minerals from the microorganisms. The plants grown on mineralized soils are then claimed to be healthier at a cellular level. The dust is also said to help bind up excess atmospheric CO2 in both plant biomass and by chemical reaction. It is also claimed that the active weathering of the dust is closely related to the glacial cycles of the planet.
